Molly’s turn today:
It is cold out here! I sure wish FarmerPhil would finish his morning chores and let me in. I’m waiting….
Fine.
I’ll sit here in between the house and where he is working and wait. I think he is down at the buildings. But if not, from here I will see him come in the lane. And I’m not sitting in that fluffy snow.
I’m waiting.
Hey, those other 2 are IN the house. I’d like in the house. I hear him. I think he is coming!
Yes, she came in a bit later. Warm & cozy! Apparently, fur & winter coat aren’t good enough these days.
Tonight I let the dog out and stood in the doorway as the bitter wind whipped the rain into the back door threshold. My mind wandered to a comment someone had said to me earlier in the day, “They don’t take the children outside to play when it’s below 40 degrees.”
In the moment, I fully understood that to be a wise choice. After all, little fingers and hands get cold! Yet, as I considered that statement in the doorway, I suddenly realized how silly it seemed. After all, I was sent outside more than once when it was below zero to play in the snow!
My, my, my, but how perceptions are formed.
Mississippi. The land of snow-desire without the faith to don snow apparell.
hm.
Your photos do my heart good. 🙂 Maybe the rain will turn to snow tonight. 🙂 I can always hope. 🙂 It’s scriptural, right? LOLOL
Yes, keep hoping dear one. And just so you know, I’m really close to sending you a bag of snow! LOL
In the meantime, still pondering the no children outside when under 40′. Wow! When our kids were little, we kept them in and Dad did K’s chores when it was -20′ wind chill like we’ve had this weekend. Now, at this age,… JP can still do chores! 😉
