Herbs

I finally picked and dried some of my herbs.

I just picked them and put them on a dinner plate or serving platter on 2 layers of paper towels and microwaved them until they crumbled.  Nothing fancy.

Then since I somehow garnered more energy, I dug up 4 of them or parts of 4 of them for pots.  I hope they survive in the house this winter!

When I made the Virus Killing Soup a few weeks ago, I felt so smug putting in fresh herbs from my herb garden.  We’ll see if that happens again.  Otherwise at least mine are home grown.

It is sort of a bummer that the herb plants are so expensive in the spring but then don’t winter over here.  So if the ones I brought in make it, maybe I can put them back out in the spring.  We’ll see.
