Last Thursday I picked up Miss E from her school that happens to be right above the fitness center where I swim. Her Poppa has been helping Phil with the harvest. Thursday was a beautiful day for working so I got Miss E and her Poppa kept working. Yeah!
After a bit of a snack, we went out to say hi to Poppa and see that he was here & working. Then we saw the pigs. Lots of pigs. All-in-all, we made 3 visits to every hog building we have. She mostly stayed at the door but by visits 2 & 3 to the nursery she felt secure enough to walk around on her own and see the little ones run! I warned her that Grandma would want her to take a shower when she got home. I know those curls like to absorb the smells.
On round 2, we then walked out to the nearest radish field. By this point, I knew I should have brought my camera along for our walk! We spent time at the playset and I’ve decided it needs to come down and be retired. It is done!
When Poppa was ready to go home, he gave Miss E a tractor ride to the end of the lane and back.
(Miss E looks JUST like our younger K here!)
I can’t imagine the stories she had for school on Friday!! She requested that I pick her up from school every day. 🙂
Joyce–you are such a sweet sweet woman!!! Little Miss E looks adorable—and I think you’re tying for the best stories on your day together 😉
Cute! She does look alot like K. 🙂
